The blog project is what happens when the demands of an increasingly technological market meet Sesta’s sensitivity in interpreting its target.
The influence of computer processing innovations and smart technologies has led Sesta to develop office spaces in line with new working methods, where “mobile”, versatile and userfriendly spaces facilitate both conversation and work itself.
"Blog is a collector of emotions, a space to share opinions, reflections and ideas that makes you feel right at home."
Alessio Pozzoli began working with Sesta in 1999 to develop the modular couch system Tommy, with various types of seat. In 2003, he interpreted Sesta’s requirement to add to its range of seating for waiting rooms with a single, colourful chair with a strong character: he developed the Day&Night chair, which became the key protagonist
in the Sesta catalogue, thanks to its bold style.
Alessio Pozzoli’s creativity was subsequently put to the test in 2014 when Sesta commissioned him to design a multi-purpose system that could be used for waiting areas, break areas or meeting rooms alike. This project was later named Blog,
to underline the project’s distinctive character, which is intended to bring people together, inviting them to meet and start a conversation. The Blog system was exhibited
for the first time at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2015. It has since evolved and expanded
to offer an unparalleled range of styles and finishes.
